The Chateau Apartments, located at 504 West Calhoun Avenue in Temple, are for low-income individuals who are elderly or near elderly. The rents vary by unit size and are fixed at less than market rate.
Amenities. All units are wired for cable TV and telephones and have central heating and air conditioning. Gas, water, sewer and trash removal are provided at no cost. The resident pays for electricity. A stove and refrigerator are furnished and washer/dryer connections are available in all units as well as an on site laundromat. The Chateau also offers some covered parking and has attractive landscaping and large breezeways.
Section 8 vouchers are accepted.
